The career of Las Vegas born makeup artist Lauren Napier is one of creative growth and constant achievement. Napier’s contagious charm, fervent passion and consummate professionalism are the forces behind her many career successes.

In early 2000, Napier began working with the powerhouse Estee Lauder brand, M.A.C. Cosmetics, where she quickly learned her love for the beauty industry was more than skin deep.

After her work was featured in the world’s most recognizable publications including: Vogue, Vanity Fair, Glamour and GQ, Napier chose to trade the bright lights of Las Vegas for the “Big Easy”, and moved to New Orleans. In New Orleans, Napier worked on major productions for Disney Channel, Playhouse Disney and Bravo.

Eventually, Napier’s career brought her to New York City.
In New York, Napier has worked fashion shows in the world-renowned Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, Vogue CFDA Fashion Shows, Fashion’s Night Out, LVMH brand concert series, television productions and feature films. In 2009 Napier was appointed hallmark celebrity make-up artist at HBO’s American Black Film Festival in Miami, Florida. Napier’s work has most recently been seen in print in Bride & Bloom, SHAPE, Nylon, Zink, Essence and Inspire magazines.

In 2009, Napier began working with the international mega brand L’Oreal Cosmetics. Napier’s knowledge of skin care, color theory and hygienic makeup practice keep her in demand. In 2010 Lauren was commissioned as the lead makeup designer and beauty expert at the “Lovely Workshop” in Paris, France. In 2011 this natural beauty expert joined Three Custom Color Cosmetics brand in co-creating the beauty award winning natural lipstick, called Nude Attitude.

Lauren is presently working at NBC Universal and is a fixture at Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Today Show, Access Hollywood, and MSNBC’s Morning Joe. Lauren Napier is now expending her career to the world of feature films and commercials.

Lauren currently resides in New York City and is a member of Local 798 Makeup Artist Union.
