NEW YEAR'S EVE ... WHAT'S IN YOUR BAG? purse size picks for the most CELEBRATED EVENING OF THE YEAR
New Year’s Eve is just around the corner. I have spent a many late nights braving the cold on New Year’s Eve - in fact, I am an expert. From Vegas to Austin to NYC I have spent decades enjoying NYE celebrations and have become a savant at packing an evening bag.
Every bag needs a few things to help you make it through the night.
Bring your lip color. You’ll want to keep your lips in check for that 12 o’clock kiss!
Blotting papers, because you will dance the night away but you don’t want to sweat off your makeup or leave it on a bar napkin.
You’ll laugh until you cry, exactly you would want to have a little lash glue on hand in case of a hysterical emergency.
If you have a heavy make out sesh or a watery eye. Cleanse by Lauren Napier is ideal for clean up. Bonus: if for some reason you don’t make it home this is NYE evening - Lauren Napier Beauty wipes will help you clean up before your walk of shame!
Now, I said I was an expert. I am going to help you secure more than your makeup!
If you are having the time of your life, you don’t want to stop the party because your “dogs started barking. Bring 4 bandaids, because if you’re having a good time you will undoubtedly need them!
Tampons. Someone in your crew will need them and Lola tampons are non-toxic, 100% cotton and slide neatly into your clutch.
If you are on the other side of the spectrum and are ready to throw down, keep it safe. Pack your own protection. It’s a lifesaver, literally!
My favorite tip. Alternate a cocktail for a glass of H20 and BYO drugs. And by drugs, I mean asprin. I also mean don’t take any kind drugs from strangers. You could be consuming anything! Then anything could happen. Allow me to reiterate, BYO asprin and drink lots of water. You’ll have less of a hangover and your skin will thank you!
Happy New Year!
